Port communication港珠澳大桥珠海口岸设置及选址方案终于敲定。珠海市规划局局长许秋萍表示，计划将在现在拱北口岸对面浅海区填海建人工岛，在人工岛修建地下隧道，横穿拱北口岸的出境口与澳门口岸的入境口之间的过渡地带，在拱北茂盛围一带升上地面，连接太澳高速与珠海大道。
自港珠澳大桥珠海落脚点选定为拱北，并实行“三地三检”的模式，珠海市便联同广东省加紧开展具体口岸设置方案及选址安排的各项研究论证。It is understood，初共有三套方案供选择： 一是以高架路连接大桥，横过拱北，向西部接高速路；二是直接在拱北开路；三是在拱北对开浅海区填海建造人工岛，以地下隧道穿越拱北口岸区域。
有助分流拱北交通 许秋萍26日透露，目前大桥珠海口岸设置及选址方案已基本敲定，将在拱北口岸对开海面上建一人工岛，在人工岛修建隧道，横穿拱北口岸的出境口与澳门口岸的入境口之间的过渡地带，在粤海国际花园旁的茂盛围升上地面，再在邻近昌盛大桥的地方修桥过河，穿将军山隧道，到南屏边检出口，接太澳高速公路。
此方案的好处是既可以分流拱北的交通流量，减轻拱北交通压力，又可以充分利用太澳高速和珠海大道，迅速接通粤西沿海高速公路、江珠高速公路，终贯通大西南泛珠三角地区。 开展环评再报中央 许秋萍称，该方案出炉后，将确定大桥在珠海上岸后的大致走向，进入工程可行性研究报告修编阶段。
目前正对该选址开展进一步的环评工作，预期在施工及运作期间对空气、水质、噪音、生态等多方面的影响与防范措施。而之后在经上报中央批覆口岸设置后，将正式进入具体技术及施工的设计阶段。 许秋萍透露，大桥的珠海口岸及引桥部分将由广东省直接投资建设。
