現有數據顯示，口岸周末客流基本穩定在15萬人次左右的高位，平日客流在5萬人次左右。邊檢部門表示，自珠海公路口岸開通以來還未經歷國家法定節假日的考驗，目前邊檢部門已提前研究制定“元旦”“春節”的客流疏導方案，節前會定期發布客流預警信息，提醒旅客錯峰出行，力保口岸安全順暢。
