中區社諮委副召集人徐達明引述海關及警方代表表示，預計港珠澳大橋每小時珠澳出入境流量為1萬人次，港澳出入境流量為1.5萬人次。在澳門口岸，海關常規配備100人、治安警200人，高峰期會增加人手。 中區社諮委副召集人徐達明、委員羅萍總結會議內容。
港珠澳大橋珠澳出入境將採用“合作查驗、一次放行”的新通關模式，珠海及澳門將各設置 20條全自動過關通道，人手查驗通道 8條，當局相信足夠應付通關流量。 多名委員問及大橋通車後，北區東方明珠一帶的交通配套和疏導措施。
由於大橋澳門口岸預計每小時客流量達2.5萬人次，通關人潮又不能步行過關，必須依靠車輛。現時接連大橋的東方明珠一帶已經常車多擠塞，又未見有基建或其他配套，委員擔心日後大橋澳門口岸受交通影響，妨礙通關，影響大批旅客出入境。社諮委表示將邀請交通局代表列席會議，商討疏導交通方案。
