指标分为两类：Category 1：非广东省且属于港澳台及国外的投资者：①境外投资者到我省投资，三年内累计纳税达到10万元以上，符合粤港两地车牌办理条件就可准予办理1辆通行港珠澳大桥口岸的商务车辆指标；②纳税达到50万元人民币以上符合粤港两地车牌办理可申请第2辆；③100万元人民币以上的可申办第3辆。
以往申请过其他口岸车辆的，不受限制，仍可提出申请。Category 2：省内纯内资企业：内地投资者到我省投资，且三年内纳税达到100万元人民币以上者就准予办理1辆通行港珠澳大桥口岸的商务车辆指标。12月12日广东省公安厅，香港政府运输署宣布，粤港两地政府增加香港跨境私家车配额数目至10000个。
