具体的目标是：广州争取在2025年底力争形成若干千亿级的融资租赁产业集聚区，培育2-3家注册资本超过50亿元以上的融资租赁龙头企业，以及设立100家以上的融资租赁企业，全市融资租赁业的市场渗透率达到5%以上。
“目前从融资租赁公司的数量上和规模上来看广州算是已经提前超额完成任务了”一组数据显示，截至目前广州市的融资租赁企业达到了137家，金额超过1000亿元。对比广州市商务委2012年提供的一组数据，截至2012年末广州市的融资租赁企业为38家，这也意味着广州在三年里，融资租赁企业的数量增加了近三倍。
