而境外商户想要申请深圳湾口岸车牌申请，则需要对广东省内进行投资办实业，且投资额和纳税额均须达到深圳湾口岸车牌申请的标准。

- 申办第1辆商务车指标的，上一年度纳税数额须达到15万元以上;
- 申办第2辆商务车指标的，上一年度的纳税数额须达到50万元以上;
- 申办第3辆商务车指标，上一年度的纳税数额须达到100万元以上;
- 从申办第4辆商务车指标起，上一年度的纳税数额每增加100万元即可增办1辆商务车指标，多不超过15辆。
