新版《标准》依据人社部下发的《国家职业技能标准编制技术规范（2025版）》的规定，将保安员职业分为五个技能等级：五级/初级工（原初级保安员）、四级/中级工（原中级保安员）、三级/工（原保安员）、二级/技师（原保安师）、一级/技师（原保安师）。
