BVI公司起名自由，允许有中英文公司名称，但中英文名称需对应翻译；名称允许含有国际、集团、控股、实业、投资等字眼；同时可以在名称前加上自己喜欢的国家或地区名字：like：中国、香港等；公司名称必须以Limited、Corporation、Incorporated、SocieteAnonyme或SociededAnonima或上述字眼之缩写作结束语。

- 董事主席是董事会的负责人，由股东选举产生，一人或一人以上；
- 股东名册须存放于BVI注册代理，公司发行记名股票，无须公布受益人身份资料，一人或一人以上；
- 董事及股东可由自然人或法人担任自然人无国籍限制，需年满18岁。
